It is 340 BC, and a troubled Brahmin youth vows revenge for the bloody murder of his dear father. Operating shrewdly and without the constraints of morals, he becomes the most invincible and calculating political strategist in Bharat; succeeding in uniting a divided country against the invasion of the forces of the indefatigable Alexander the Great.
Playing these forces against each other, he pulls off a marvellous victory and installs Chandragupta on the throne of the great Mauryan empire. We are told about him in stories that refer to the brilliant strategist Chanakya.
